Staff extremely helpful including giving us inside information on where to eat and get coffee. Bed was very comfortable. Location was right in San Mateo main street and very close to everything.

Shared bathroom was OK but it was a little away from our room but was available when needed. We were fully informed of this when booking so it was not a surprise.

This place has thick walls, old stone floors and antique furniture and is located right in the center of San Gimignano.

You can hear people talking in the street at night.

Very good localisation in the city center. we had a quiet room without noise from the streets.

I wanted to cancell my reservation when I noticed to book a room without private bathroom. The hotel despite my request ddint agree. just upon arrival they offered a room with bathroom but of course with additional cost to cover for 'the upgrade'. in the room it was high humidity and no ventilation- was difficult to stay and breathe. the hotel does not have a 'private parking' nor tennis court. They give instructions to public free parking slots - we were lucky to park it but I doubt if its possible in high season. the only very positive about the stay was the localisation.
