The Cartshed is located on a very quiet, no-through road in the beautiful village of Osmington in Dorset.
The space
The Cartshed is located on a very quiet, no-through road in the beautiful village of Osmington in Dorset. It has accommodation for 6 people across three bedrooms (two double rooms and one twin room with bunk beds). There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower, a fully equipped kitchen (gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board), and a comfortable sitting room with a large open fire, sky TV, DVD and CD player, books and games. A cot and high chair is also provided. There is off-road parking for two cars at the front of the property, and for one car to the rear of the property. The front garden is enclosed with a stone wall and gate, and has a pond and stream (both guarded), and a swing set. The secluded back garden is enclosed by hedges and has a small patio area with seating and a barbeque, a hot tub, and a lawn area with a clothes line. The cottage has been converted from an old barn and has retained a sense of history and character with its stone walls, exposed timber beams and flagstone floors. Well-behaved pets are welcome at the Cartshed, and guests can borrow a dog from Eweleaze Farm for the day. Please note that unless specified, we will make up the double in the main bedroom.

Beautiful old conversation not overdone hot tub was great! Just an overnight stay but would go again. Just one small gripe, the mezzanine bed area needs proper steps as it was painful on bare feet, but it would not prevent us from coming back again.

Lovely cottage with character, the fireplace is a great feature. It had everything you need for a great stay. The jacuzzi is a plus. Clean kitchen all dishware new looking and dishwasher cleaned. Double bed on mezzanine requires young legs to access but is first choice for the kids. Shower a bit of a trickle. lighting a bit dark. We loved our stay and we would love to come back.

This was such an amazing experience!! We were very wowed by the whole thing and so appreciated Peter’s communication. The hot tub was amazing, the set up was fantastic, we loved every minute! We even borrowed a dog and walked down by the beach for hours. Amazing experience. This is a destination Vrbo!!!

The Cartshed is like stepping back in time. Flagstone floors, big wooden beams but with all the modern conveniences you need. Loved the hot tub. Just what you need after the climb up from Durdle door !
So reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back
