⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Beautiful, Comfortable Stay That Felt Like Home
My sisters, my daughter, and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The location was excellent — close to everything we needed, including a Sainsbury’s Local just a short walk away, which made our trip so convenient.
The house itself is incredibly welcoming. The two double bedrooms and the king‑size room were spacious and comfortable, and the whole place had a warm, homely feel. One of the highlights for me was the huge collection of books — truly more than anyone could read in one visit. It made the space feel lived‑in and full of character.
The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into providing essentials. We didn’t find ourselves missing anything, and it was easy to settle in straight away. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but nothing that affected our stay, and they seemed to be things the hosts simply hadn’t been made aware of before. We passed them on, and they were very receptive.
Overall, we felt completely at home — more than I ever expected in a borrowed space. We’d happily stay again.
The only small thing I missed was a proper way to brew coffee. There was a percolator, but it didn’t work with the induction hob. A simple cafetiere would be perfect. This is a tiny detail in an otherwise fantastic stay.

Good layout, very clean, gorgeous decoration. House is beautiful and worked well for our family. Location definitely lets it down
Location was a little rough and didn’t feel safe walking at night around. The stove top was shattered and small hot plate replacing it which was difficult to use. This needs to be fixed or mentioned when booking as we wouldn’t have booked if we knew. No dryer so washing was hard to dry.
