The property was beautiful, well presented, warm and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lots of things to do locally and plenty to explore.
The garage and hill up to it!! Not a problem at all and beyond anyone's control, just scary for a person from Cheshire where it's very flat :)

Location is beautiful and handy to access the town - literally a five minute walk into Matlock.
Property is large and has plenty of room for larger groups, was nice and cosy when we arrived, lovely place.
Parking is an issue, the garage is too small for today’s average size cars, and the parking bays located either end of road are always full at busy times…so this can be a bit stressful when loading and unloading the car as property is situated on corner of a busy road, this is not the owners fault the whole area is limited with parking, it’s how the town was built, however if you can get round that it’s a beautiful area and well worth a trip.

The property is a little gem! Everything we needed was there felt very cosy. 5 minute walk and your in the centre of Matlock.

Excellent location close to the centre of Matlock, comfortable beds, great shower.
Lots of cobwebs in the dining room fireplace and elsewhere, bathroom extractor very dirty, not much kitchen equipment apart from cutlery. We tried to contact the owner on the mobile number provided as, contrary to what we had been advised, there was no garage key in the lockbox. The number was unreachable so we contacted Sykes Cottages who informed us they would look into this and get back to us - this was on Saturday 28 October and at time of writing (5 November) we are still awaiting a response.
