Unexpected delayed to handover the keys but host offered alternative options and made suggestions of restaurants, bars and cafés in the area and around Venice and gave timely updates for arrival to handover keys.
Location was nice as it was not in a busy built up area but this meant there was a little more walking involved and a little challenging to get to when you're unfamiliar with the area. But no real complaints on the apartment!

Location is great and convenient if you don't wanna be in the very busy part of town not too noisy.
Elevator direct to the apartment.
Large living room space, and two toilets.
Nice separate kitchen break out space.
Photos of the balcony would be good as it can be a bit deceiving thinking it's one of the front facing ones.
Slight water leak during rain in the hallway.
Location of the shower in the bedroom is placed a bit awkward, with a squeeze around the sink to the toilet.
Some basics were lacking such as shelving units or simple toothbrush holder in the bathroom space.
There were a few bugs around the apartment throughout our stay.
Walls were a bit stained.
Very uncomfortable and cheap bed and couches.
We were there 5 nights and there was no cleaner or change of towels etc in that time, whilst in other places we stayed it was every day or every other day, would've been nice to have a change over.
Quite overpriced, you're paying to stay close to the main square whilst being away from the noise.
