The property is located in the heart of Normandy farmland in a small town with friendly people. It is the perfect location to explore the region. I spent several days visiting D-day locations and museums, Mont-Saint-Michel, and Bayeux. The town has a Supermarket which sells gas and has a freestanding laundry kiosk and has a Brasserie next door. There are several bakeries, a Pizza parlor, and a couple of other places to grab a bite to eat.
Sylvie and her husband were perfect hosts. They have a beautiful home situated on a perfectly maintained piece of property. Because of a ferry cancellation I was unable to get to the property on the scheduled day. Sylvie stayed in communication with me and helped solve the issue by allowing me to stay a day beyond my scheduled departure without extra cost. The bedroom was charming and comfortable. The shower and toilet facilities were first class and immaculate.
