About this house rental
10 km from Honfleur, in the commune of Quetteville (300 inhabitants), the Domaine de la Kernery extends over a little more than 2 hectares and is composed of 3 independent houses (an old wine press, a farmhouse and an annex). The Domaine is a haven of calm and rest (no visible neighbours).
A large heated swimming pool will be at your disposal when the weather permits (if necessary shared with the owners when they are here!).
We rent out the "Ferme" on our estate, which is located at the bottom of the property and is more than 100 metres from the house that is not for rent.
The "Ferme" is a typical thatched cottage with a ground floor and a first floor (accessed by an outside staircase).
The farmhouse has 3 independent bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room/kitchen and a games room. It is ideal for a family or two couples of friends.
The terrace is very sunny and will allow you to have an aperitif and then your meal until late in the evening in summer. The Farmhouse is equipped with Wifi, a modern connected TV and a large fireplace. It also has a washing machine.
The domain is well covered by the Orange network but less well covered by other operators (which may be important for teleworkers, even if the farm has Wifi)
There are apple, cherry, walnut, pear, blueberry and raspberry trees all over the property. If it's wall to wall, it's because you don't want to waste it: treat yourself!
Lower bedroom: A 180° bed
Upper bedroom number 1: one 140cm bed
Upper bedroom number 2: 2 single beds.
Possibility to add a bed in the playroom.

We rented the place with our family of 6 adults. Very charming place with a large beautiful garden in peaceful and in equally beautiful surroundings.The host was very attentive to our well-being and easy to contact; next to making sure our stay in the cottage was care free, he was also keen to provide us with all sorts of to-do tips in the area.Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful fortnight's stay in this GITE which is set in a peaceful hidden location about 20minutes inland from Honfleur. The swimming pool was a great hit with everyone particularly the children. It was warm and clean and not too deep and had a shallow area for the youngest.
The GITE is very old and it felt like we were living in a gentler less harassed time. Having said that the Internet was slow but worked and the T V had Netflix. Kitchen was well equipped for a holiday and the 2 bathrooms, although small, always had plenty of hot water.
If you enjoy being surrounded by nature you will love staying here. We had a resident toad and saw local deer,bats and heard owls hooting in the night. The starry skies were awesome.
David was super kind to us and the staff looking staff looking after the property were courteous and discrete.
We all loved our stay in this fairytale cottage.
