Really clean. Newly done up. Comfy. Good space for 4 people. Nice lake location.
Just be aware to not follow sat nav from postcode as it takes you to the other side of the lake. Follow the link from the booking or put in Rutland way.

Lovely and warm on arrival re very windy day lovely hot water/shower...clean..crisp clean bedding/towels...nice small kitchen with all needed ..Thanks for washing up sponge and washing up liquid.....comfy bed...nice leather settee/chair..
Parking next to Lodge...lovely view of lake..will be nice to sit out on decking /garden table/chairs in summer....close to a supermarket...and Costa coffee...and others (we didnt visit)...good communication re numbers to get in outside gated area and key box on lodge...the main road A27 although pretty close, noise did not disturb us..could hardly hear it...very quiet peaceful night
Liked everything....only thing that would have been handy was a Jay cloth to wipe down surfaces and a toilet brush...

Loved the location, the lake is very beautiful, the lodge is basic but very very clean, the weather was extremely cold so inside could have done with being warmer ( only 1 radiator was working), despite this it was a good stay
Bed not particularly comfortable, bedding good and very clean
