The Mill Managers House

A great house for a big group, plenty of room for us all with good sized bedrooms. Kitchen well equipped.

Everything was lovely although we did arrive during a snowy time and the house was very cold, it took a few days to heat up. However there was plenty of firewood to keep us going - so thank you for that.

Lovely stay , two parking spaces available in the car park next door with parking up the private road by the side available too . Large house in a perfect location with lovely walks and local pubs and cafes . Perfect short walk to Matlock bath and Matlock . Only down side there is no large kitchen and would have been better with more en-suites (rather than just the one and no toilet on the top floor) . There was also sadly only one toilet roll per loo (so we had to buy more) . But overall a lovely stay, thank you for having us !

Location great and the garden was nice in the good weather (although plastic grass). Plenty of crockery.

Heating was poor. Shower temperamental. Generally the place needs refreshing - new mattresses in many bedrooms and chairs in the lounge. Pull cord in bathroom really noisy in the night!
