Located on Serene Lakes, with beach access just steps away, this wonderful, 3,200 square foot home is the ideal getaway for a large family or travel group no matter the season! The open main-level floorplan boasts soaring ceilings, walls of windows, and incredible lake and mountain views, as well as a full kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table for six, and an inviting living area with a gas fireplace. Above this, there's a furnished loft with a foosball table, while on the lower level, you'll find a cozy TV room with an additional gas fireplace and a full, neon-lit bar—perfect for entertaining! And when it's time to turn in for the night, this home offers five comfortable bedrooms including two with king-size beds, two with queens, and a kid-friendly bunk room.

While there is plenty of fun to be had right outside your door, this home is also not far from a variety of other local attractions. If you're visiting in winter, head up to the Soda Springs Mountain Resort, a family-friendly destination offering ski lessons, sleigh rides, and a large play area for the little ones, less than two miles north. Alternatively, hit the slopes at Sugar Bowl, located less than seven miles east. And for even more watersports and other lake activities, this vacation rental is less than 10 miles from the shores of Donner Lake and only 27 miles from beautiful Lake Tahoe.

The house was very comfortable and accommodating for our group of 5 adults 3 kids and 1 baby. We can’t wait to visit again in the summer and hangout by the water.

We’ve stayed in Serene Lakes rental homes for many years. This is our favorite house! Not only is the house spacious and clean with plenty of room and everything you need for two families, but it’s bright and sunny as well. There’s actually a living room on each of the three floors! I think the best feature is the beach! No other house we stayed in had a sandy area right at the back of the house with immediate access to the lake. You can pull in the provided canoe or rowboat. We brought in our own paddle boards and it was great entry for that too. You can see the lake from upstairs or downstairs. It’s gorgeous as the sun comes up in the morning and as it goes down at night. The boathouse is truly our happy place.
