The cottage was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The cottage was superbly located, with a Sainsbury's store opposite and the bus station just a 2-minute walk away.

Very tired and needs freshening up and overall felt a bit unclean. There was mildew on the wall on the landing; and especially in the "wardrobe" in the bedroom where there were also a lot of cobwebs so obviously not been cleaned very thoroughly or for a long time. The shower doors did not fit properly and the seals were very yellowed and coming away. The whole downstairs stank of dog. There were random bits of wood attached to the ceilings and walls in certain areas which were presumably covering up something (more mildew?) and the cutlery was very stained and also dirty. The yard had lots of weeds and was quite overgrown and needed some attention. Overall needs a fresh lick of paint; the mildrew attended to and a deep clean throughout. Very disappointed especially as the daily rate was not cheap. There was quite a lot of other stuff I could mention but will refrain from doing so so as to not appear to be completely unreasonable. Would not recommend.
