If you are a large family or a large group of friends, the ideal place to spend your holidays in complete relaxation and comfort is this elegant property with an exclusive swimming pool and garden which can accommodate 11+2 people.
Villa Residenza La Fonte with a large private garden, is located in the small village of Casale located in the heart of the Tuscan Apennines, immersed in the enchanting Tuscan countryside and surrounded by panoramic views of the Casentinesi Forest National Park. If you love trekking and relaxation this is the place for you.
A few kilometers away it is possible to visit the birthplace of Giotto and Cimabue, the Etruscan archaeological excavations and Dicomano is only 10 minutes away where you can find shops, supermarkets and banks.
From the small Dicomano railway station you can comfortably take a direct train to the center of Florence in just 30 minutes, saving you the hassle of city traffic and parking.
Lake Bilancino, a perfect alternative to the sea with all imaginable water sports for rent, is only 20km from the property and the endless long beaches of the Adriatic coast are 140km away.
For lovers of trekking and naturalistic excursions there are numerous paths in the woods of the Casentinesi Forest Park up to the peaks of Monte Falterona where the Arno river is born or to reach the Calabuia waterfalls.

The distinctive feature of the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, where the villa is located, in addition to nature, is spirituality: they call it the sacred forests park.
The "Waterfalls of the Aquacheta" described by Dante in the XVI canto of the Inferno of the Divine Comedy, take their name from Acquacheta, the most important affluent of the Montone, that, with a jump of over 70 meters, is an authentic natural spectacle.
