Die Ferienwohnung war sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Lage ist gut, um in der Umgebung zu wandern, ansonsten gibt es nicht wirklich viel außer die Stadt Ulm. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir in der Garage unterstellen und eine Kraxe haben wir ausgeliehen bekommen um mit unserem Kleinen wandern zu gehen. Einziger wirklicher Minuspunkt für uns war, dass das Schlafzimmer vom Wohnzimmer lediglich durch eine Schiebetür abgetrennt wird. Das Ganze ist dadurch sehr hellhörig, was vor allem mit Kindern, die im Schlafzimmer schon eher schlafen gehen, sehr anstrengend sein kann. Der Preis für die Wohnung ist meiner Meinung nach etwas zu hoch.

Man wohnt ruhig auf dem Dorf, kann abends an Feldrändern schön spazieren, es gibt auch einige Wanderwege wenige Meter vom Haus aus. Wer mit dem Auto kommt, hat guten Zugang zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Schwäbischen Alb. Ohne Auto kommt man überraschend gut und kostenlos mit der Alb Card nach Ulm, nach Blaubeuren und anderen nicht so weit entfernten Orten. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil, da auch weiter entfernte Ziele gut erreicht werden. In Weidach, dort befindet sich die FeWo, gibt es keine Einkehr und keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wer kochen will und sich selbst versorgt, für den ist die Küche ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind bei allen Anliegen gerne behilflich, laden zum Verweilen im Garten ein und haben die Wohnung schön und geschmackvoll gestaltet.
