About this apartment rental
Cocoonr offers this flat in the heart of the historic centre. Located in the Rue Saint Georges, which links the Parliament of Brittany to the Palais Saint-Georges. It is following a very beautiful rehabilitation of this building in Pans de Bois, in this typical street of historic Rennes, that you will find on the 4ᵉ floor by staircase, a real Cocoon completely renovated. All the modern facilities and comforts for this two-storey flat with the authentic charm of these beams, timber-framed walls and limed patina shades.

The apartment looks just like the photos on VRBO, but when we arrived, we were initially afraid that the place was too "authentic" in its architectural style for the city. The walls and floors are very crooked (but well made) and the ceilings and its beams are low, but we got accustomed to it. My husband hit his head several times until he learned to navigate certain points. After a couple days of getting to know its quirks, we grew to love the place. We loved the spaciousness and bright light of the apt. We found the restaurant noise very soothing...just a steady hum of conversation, and even that stopped early so that we could sleep deeply without interruption. The beds and bath towels were high quality, the spaces were all very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. The 55 steps from street level to the apartment may be impossible for some people, but we luckily used it as our daily glute work-out. Parc du Thabour is a 10 min walk and a joy to visit at any time during the day, including performances, a restaurant, and a beautiful rose garden. The bus line is a 3-min walk from the apt and goes everywhere in the city. We loved this apartment.

Georgia "This is a wonderful place superbly located in the heart of Rennes. It's cozy and is located inside a historic building. The kitchen was our favorite part.
Since it is retrofitted, tall people need to mind their head on the beams, but one soon adapts."
