About this cottage rental
Set in West Sussex countryside, The Parlour is a retreat for six just outside the picturesque village of Westbourne. With country pubs, beautiful walks and links to Chichester and Goodwood this beautiful cottage is the perfect spot to explore everything our region has to offer.
Westbourne includes a quaint bakery, the highly recommended Woodmancote Pub is only a short drive away as is Fox and Hound pub and Halliday's restaurant in Funtington is well worth a visit, make sure to book in advance.
The Parlous has a large kitchen with everything you will need to self-cater during your stay. There is a Nespresso coffee machine with pods and a lovely breakfast welcome pack will be provided on arrival. The kitchen has a hob, cooker, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. A further utility room includes a washing machine and space to dry washing. An iron and ironing board will be provided. The kitchen includes a dining area for six and there is seating for six outside on the patio for dinner in the garden on a summers day.
The large ground floor living room has all new furnishings and new widescreen television to cosy down with a movie after a day of exploring. A log burner is in pride of place in the living space along with a nice big basket of logs which will be provided for your booking.
On the first floor there is double bedroom and twin bedroom and the groundfloor there is a second twin bedroom. Top quality bedding and towels will be provided throughout. On the landing you will find a cute snug area to read a book and get away for some peace and quiet - this is accessed by a high step up from the stairs so may not be accesible to all. There is family bathroom with separate shower cubicle and bathtub. A further WC can be located on the ground floor. The master bedroom has it's own en suite along with dressing and seating area.

We stayed in the Parlour as a family of 6. The occasion was very special to us and it was matched by the property and Alison ( the owner). I cannot recommend this property and Alison enough. From the welcome crate of goodies to the check in to see if we were ok, to the helping us light the fire or local recommendations, Alison was one of a kind.
We will definitely be staying here or in the Dairy again.

This is the third year we have booked this accommodation. Our team enjoy staying at The Parlour Emsworth due to its cleanliness and self catering ability unlike staying at a Hotel. It is ideally placed for their local commute and we would happily recommend staying here.

This is an excellent cottage. Comfortable beds, well equipped & clean. We all loved staying here and would definitely return.
