Not a bad option for one or two nights in Oxford. The location is excellent, the college is atmospheric, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was generous.
The rooms are exactly what you’d expect from student accommodation: serviceable, but a bit worn. The bed was not super comfortable. Although there is WiFi, the phone reception was so poor as to be unusable

They have lovely and helpful porters. The college is right at the city centre. The room is full of history of course.
As it's an old building, and you are supposed to live in a student accommodation, so you can hear the doors opening and closing loudly occasionally in the late evenings, which actually means that the students are studying hard while you are trying to have fun😂

Although the room is quite old and I had a shared bathroom, everything was super clean, which made my stay very comfortable. I loved the experience of staying in the college and breakfast was amazing (really appreciated the veggie options as well!) Staff were super lovely as well. Thank you!
The rooms aren't very sound proof so this might affect you if you're a light sleeper. I didn't mind too much. The mattress seemed pretty old and sunken as well.. all fine to stay for a couple of nights though.
