About this house rental
Set in extensive grounds in the Vire Valley and 10 kilometres from St Lo. This 200 year old French Farm House can sleep up to 10 in five bedrooms and three on-suite bathrooms and one separate bathroom. Twenty-thirty minutes from the superb , safe, family beaches along the west coast of Normandy and the trendy resorts of Agon Countainville and Granville. There are extensive grounds and ample parking with a bridle way to the village of Quibou with a shop and bar.
There are 4 large double bedrooms and a bunk room suitable for children. There are also two kitchens, two dining rooms and two lounges. Free internet is provided as well as English TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime.
There is full Central Heating for most of the property with back up electric heating and two wood burning stoves.
The house is private and quite and set in the countryside.

We were a family group of six, so there was more than enough space for everyone. The beds and linens were very comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms were all fully functional. We enjoyed one at-home meal, using the living room for appetisers and the dining room for the main meal.

Sehr schön gelegenes Landhaus, gut eingerichtet mit sehr viel Platz und sehr bequemen Schlafzimmern. Ideal für Entdeckungstouren im Cotentin.

Agréable séjour en famille (5 adultes de 40 à 75 ans, 2 jeunes enfants et 2 ados) dans maison de campagne chaleureuse, avec un certain standing mais sans chichis, où l’on se sent comme chez soi. Nombreux produits à disposition (papier toilette, linge de maison, produits ménagers et alimentaires de 1ère nécessité). La structure du logement est surprenante et permet de grandes parties de cache-cache! Les chambres sont spacieuses (sauf celle des lits superposésc, la cuisine est bien équipée, vaisselle en quantité suffisante. Prévoir de bidouiller un peu entre la table de la cuisine et celle de la salle à manger si vous êtes nombreux. John est réactif et sympa! Nombreuses sorties culturelles ou « nature » dans le secteur (à 20-30 min en voiture). Bar-épicerie et boulangerie de qualité dans le centre du village de Quibou.

I loved the location, and the host was super responsive. It is a super quiet area, and is close to everything in Normandy you want to see. It is also close to some great local shops that you can walk to with a little bit of off roading. It is also large enough for everyone and has that old world charm. But there were some major issues, two of the three showers leaked, and the attic had weasels that were active all night, keeping me up. The host refunded about one nights stay.
