Just come back from a 2 night stay at Sawcliffe Manor and we stayed in the Hare Cottage. There were 7 of us for my friend's Hen Do and it was absolutely amazing. We booked the spa facilities and the afternoon tea, the spa was just next level and the staff were so so lovely and helpful, the afternoon tea was amazing and the details were so delicate and the Bride to Be said she felt so special. The house was comfy, clean and warm, 10/10, would definitely recommend!!
There was nothing we didn't like. House and spa were amazing and we can't wait to return!

We have had such a wonderful stay here at Sawcliffe .We have enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, relaxing and admiring the beautiful surroundings whilst spotting different wildlife, We made use of the BBQ facilities which we thoroughly enjoyed and the local cat (pocket tiger) even came to sit with us during it. We booked a twilight spa session, which was sublime. We slept so well after it. Em was really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff on site were always friendly and welcoming. I could go on and on, but we are already booking to come back. Just fabulous!

We stayed here for our anniversary and to celebrate our engagement. We stayed at hare cottage, and loved every second of it. The cottage itself was beautiful, extremely spacious and comfortable, and the surrounding area was stunning. Upon arrival we were greeted, and shown to the cottage, the staff member (I'm sorry I can't remember your name) was extremely welcoming, and gave us loads of information about the area, including the nature reserve which was a short drive, or a 20-30 minute walk which we opted for. We got in, set our bags down, then went for a walk around the property. We had ordered the afternoon tea hamper which had been brought to the cottage for us, it was delicious, so many sweet and savory treats, including fresh ground coffee, and loose tea leaves, for that proper afternoon tea feel! We went for a walk around the area before tucking in, the manor is beautiful, the yurt looked really good, as did the spa area, we didn't experience them, but we will be back to try them! Now taking into account that we stayed at Hare Cottage, we didn't expect to see THAT many hares, they were everywhere on one of the fields, so peaceful watching them run about. No noises of a town, or traffic or people, it was exactly what we needed!
We also ordered the breakfast hamper, which came with bacon, eggs, sausages, croissants and a variety of sauces, as well as more tea and coffee! We both said it was the best breakfast we had had in a while!
I'll be honest, when I saw the price of the hampers I was Abit sceptical, but both the afternoon tea, and the breakfast hampers leave absolutely nothing out! Both me and my partner agreed, for what you get it is 100% worth it! It's the little touches as well, so a hand written note in the hamper, and a cute little field mouse teddy (my partner was very sad she couldn't take it 😂) if you're staying here, treat yourself, honestly! You won't regret it.
I'm honestly racking my brain for something to say here, but I don't think there was a single moment where me or my partner were dissatisfied with anything.
