The location is very convenient, although be aware it's a fairly rough area (as is most of Scunthorpe though to be fair), however I didn't have any issues at all while here.
The station is very close, as is the centre with any shops and whatnot you might need. I stayed here for the half marathon and I was able to do a warm up jog over to the stadium from the apartment, saving me the hassle of trying to park at the race. The place was clean and the small kitchen had enough to work with for very basic meals. Internet speed is good.
The mattress definitely seemed a bit worse for wear. One end of it was noticeably higher than the other. I still slept ok, but it was a little odd. Pillows are very thin. I was by myself so I just stacked the two pillows, but if you're travelling as a pair then you might want to bring extra with you.
There are no staff on site. I recieved all the information I needed to get into my booked apartment easily through booking.com, but if you prefer to have a member of staff on hand to help with issues then this place might not be for you.
