The Papavero apartment is part of a small farmhouse in the Piceno hills, in the Marche region, halfway between the beaches of Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto and the Monti Sibillini National Park. The apartment is on the ground floor, has an independent entrance and consists of a large living room with kitchenette and double sofa bed, bedroom with a single bed, bathroom with shower, two double bedrooms, one with private bathroom.
The house also has an outdoor area for eating out. Available to all guests, the farmhouse offers a large garden, barbecue area with wood-burning oven, shared laundry room with washing machine, swimming pool with large solarium on a panoramic terrace.

Lovely spacious apartment in beautifully maintained plot with wonderful views over the lush local countryside. Well situated for trips to interesting old towns and villages (as long as you can cope with lots of bends and hills!) as well as easy access to the beaches and longer trips via the north/south coastal motorway to Ancona, Macerata and Loreto.
The pool is beautiful (purified by salt water, not chlorine) though a couple of sun umbrellas would be nice. The apartment, being in an older building, was reasonably cool, even in 30C+ temperatures, but the aircon in the lounge/diner and bedrooms was quiet and efficient. Jessica was a lovely, helpful host. The apartment is well-equipped, spacious and very clean and comfortable.
We had a really great two weeks there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful holiday in a lovely area with plenty of beautiful scenery and interesting places to visit. A great alternative to Tuscany and much less busy.
