The location suited our needs perfectly, it was quiet and the free parking was appreciated. There was excellent communication prior to our late arrival and there was a good key safe system for our entry keys, as it was a bank holiday. We soon settled down in our comfortable room with a nice cup of tea. There was even a flask of fresh milk ready for us to collect from the fridge in the breakfast room. We were able to have breakfast at a time convenient for us. It was delicious and freshly prepared to order. We also noticed that Karl and Jude have made a considerable effort to be eco friendly in every respect. We will certainly make a return visit to Fairlight Lodge and highly recommend it to anyone considering staying there.
At home we are used to a king sized duvet on a double bed, so found ourselves fighting over the duvet! A minor grumble really.

Lovely fresh room, warm welcome from Jude. Breakfast was delicious from Karl. Would definitely use again as we’ve several friends now living in the area
Nothing to dislike, we just had to get used to a double bed (we have a king size at home) but we learnt to share nicely 🤣 bed was really comfy though

The breakfast was very good the service was very good and the hosts were very nice
The decor in the room was very old fashioned . There was a huge spider in the bed and when we moved the bed to catch the spider it was very dusty behind the bed and when.
Could have been cleaner.
