We had a group of 11 stay at Villa Mariani. The host Kim was fantastic as was Sylvia and the whole crew. The place is a fantastic sitting up in the hills overlooking the town of San Felice Circeo. The driveway getting up to the place gave us a little pause but once you are up there it’s unreal. I’d definitely get a car and Kim and team were great and had one delivered to us. We did the walk into the village and it’s very doable. There is some elevation so may not be ok for some but our whole group did it. Probably 5 or 6 restaurants and bars in the walled city as well as many shops etc. took about 10 minutes to walk down and prob 20 back to place. Nice set up with separate bedrooms for everyone and slept everyone comfortably. Great ac in bedrooms. Kitchen and other living areas are very much open air and we enjoyed having the chef Kim organized do a group dinner and breakfast one of the days. Pool area is tremendous and a great place to spend a day. Views are spectacular. The only item to be aware of - and it wasn’t an issue for anyone in our group - is the common areas are very much open air so kitchen and outdoor living areas are just that - open and may get a fly or 2 buzzing around. But again it wasn’t an issue in the least. Overall a very cool place with a more rustic authentic Italian feel. Less crowds than down the coast and a great place to unwind. Kim and his team will do anything to make your stay memorable.
