About this house rental
Our Fabulous Family Lake House is located on Eden Isle, a 400 acre resort just outside of Heber Springs, Arkansas. Eden Isle is surrounded by Greers Ferry Lake. Our home is close to (.5 mile) Eden Isle Marina and a short (2 minute) drive from the Red Apple Inn & Country Club. It includes a romantic (gas log) fireplace, a large gazebo with a big screen outdoor theater set up for "movie nights", a cascading koi pond, and beautiful grounds that are drawn indoors by our home's extensive windows.
Our home sits on a large landscaped lot with plenty of outdoor rooms for enjoyment. Outdoors, we enjoy watching movies on the large screen of our Gazebo, and early mornings with coffee or tea by the cascading water fountain. Or fountain includes a group of koi and happy goldfish. Feeding them is a regular treat for us. Greer's Ferry Lake surrounds Eden Isle. Eden Isle's marina is a convenient walk from our home. The Red Apple Inn and Country Club are added amenities that no one should miss. The Red Apple Inn's holiday buffets are legendary and its championship golf course is part of Arkansas' "Golf Trail." Heber Springs (4 miles away) is a charming town with compelling attractions like Sugarloaf Mountain, the Ellen Hobgood Gallery, Aromatique, Ozark Country Market, Ruland Toy Train Museum, Greers Ferry Dam, a trout hatchery, JFK Park, the Little Red River and much, much more.

Eden Isle is a 400 acre vacation resort surrounded by Greers Ferry Lake. Our home is close to Eden Isle Marina and the Red Apple Inn and Country Club. The Red Apple Inn and Country Club offers a championship golf course, tennis and a great restaurant with one of the most beautiful views in Arkansas.
We enjoy watching deer roam through our back yard and rear easement. Bluebirds, hummingbirds, woodpeckers and cardinals also regularly visit. Eden Isle Marina (where our boat is docked) offers nightly slip rentals, boat rentals and lake toy rentals.
We have garage parking for one vehicle (our golf cart takes up the other space). On Eden Isle almost every amenity is walkable, but your arrival and departure will require a vehicle. Our driveway has significant additional parking available for up to five (5) vehicles.
Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property (inside or outside). Violation of this rule will result in immediate termination of stay.

The house was clean & well stocked with everything you would need for a wonderful lake vacation. We celebrated Thanksgiving, loved being able to have a fire. The living room reclining furniture was a hit with our group. We also enjoyed using the solo stove on the patio.

We've stayed several times at this house, by ourselves and with friends, and every time have had a great experience. The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need. It is so comfortable - it is almost as if you were staying at a friend's house. We have a boat at the marina, so it's a perfect location. We love to take walks in the neighborhood, too.
