A beautiful property, overlooking the lake. Plenty of parking onsite and easy access to the cottage. The house was very clean and exceptionally well equipped! The only thing that wasn’t there was kitchen towel, cling film & foil! Plates, glasses etc were there in abundance. It was a great base for exploring Matlock and the surrounding areas and we’d definitely recommend staying there.

Location was good for exploring The Peak District.
Rooms were spacious.
Host was really helpful finding us a DVD player.
Oven needs updating, only 1 shelf and difficult to control temperature.
Towels need to be a higher quality.
