The location was great: good instructions on how to get there and just above the village which we could walk to. Liked the pub. Very handy for getting out and about both to the peak district NP and elsewhere Spacious, warm and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious dining room. Good bathrooms. Magazines, some games also provided. In warmer weather the outside seating area would have been much used I feel.
Very well stocked generally but a few more small plates would have been helpful. Also some instructions/symbol explanation on use of appliances (microwave was a bit unusual -- or perhaps more modern than our ones at home --and oven, for those of us without an electric one at home).

Perfect , lovely cottage , everything provided and very comfortable.
There was nothing to dislike about this cottage and the only reason I didn’t give a ten was because we never met our host ( although good contact and information throughout our stay ) so not really required

Very friendly host and well equipped with all the essentials. One of the best stay we ever had as a group. Very clean property and strategic location for Peak District trip.
