Hotel is full of character and so unique. Lovely outside space and friendly staff.
Breakfast is good but we went down with 30 minsvto go one day and there was hardly anything left.

A stone's throw from all the main sights and museums and an old building filled with antiques, much like the museums next door. Quiet, beautiful and an excellent breakfast.
It is unfortunately not accessible, even for someone who doesn't need a wheelchair and can walk. As in many older buildings, the stairs are very steep.

- plenty of pillows
- temperature in room easy to control (in winter)
- location is lovely
- reviews we read did not match our experience
- late responses from reception often unhelpful
- no one on site to welcome us when we arrived (locked out)
- poorly maintained rooms, really sad to see such poor repairs
- staff appeared to be actively avoiding us and had no interest in how our sty was going
- breakfast doesn’t start until 08:30 and is awkward, flys in cream etc
- no tissues in room
- no lampshades
- no kettle cups or teaspoons in room, asked for one twice, got second day of stay.
- reception uncontactable in evening and at night
- timber decking on bathroom floor to hide what?
- shower sprayed all across room and was at such pressure it actually hurt to use
- mattress was aged and had sunk in the centre
- no plant milk options at breakfast, no vegan protein options
- phone didn’t work
