Plenty of room, very comfortable and clean. Biscuits & fresh milk offered for tea. Excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly & informative staff.
No coffee machine, not a fan of filter coffee. Safety lights in bathroom not fitted properly (this was advised to the hotel and not a major concern). Small things which did not detract from our enjoyment at the hotel.

Friendly staff and excellent breakfast
Parking was a nightmare. Information on booking stated car parking was available - one space per room. I had to park elsewhere initially and move my car when someone went out for the evening. Left my car parked over the weekend as so worried about not getting a space. Grasmere is a nightmare for parking. This has put me off booking this hotel in future!

The hotel is right in the middle of Grasmere and very comfortable. The staff were all really helpful and the breakfast was lovely. We made a late booking with only a few days notice - which may account for the cost- but we felt that it wasn’t very good value for money compared to other places we have stayed at.
