Meals were OK. Staff pleasant and helpful, but appeared to be lacking direction. The room, on the second floor, although classified as best in the house , was, in our opinion, not as good os those on the first floor overlooking the village.
Generally, although the hotel is clean and tidy the building is tired. That shows in various aspects, such as windows that do not operate correctly, and areas of deterioration in woodwork and decoration.
Disappointed that the swimming polol is no longer available.

Customer Service. Breakfast made to order and delicious. Comfortable beds.
Dinner menu maybe could've been a little more incentive. It did have a feel of a pub lunch and not that if a hotel dining experience. I would add however that what we did order was perfectly cooked and delicious. Some updating and maintenance required.
