The location is really lovely, in the forest and so close to a picture perfect village and the lake. The room was really spacious, well above average, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant and really appreciated how dog friendly the place is. The price for the room was reasonable and all staff were very friendly.
The bathroom was quite dated, with a shower only in the bath tub and a rather noisy flushing toilet.
It’s fair to be charged for the deeper cleaning of the room, but the extra charge for the dogs felt excessive, particularly if compared to the price of the room.

Food always good, but the menu is limited and there is no two course offer, as there has been for a decade.
The wine in the restaurant has increased exponentially, a bottle of Alogote has for years many years been 24 Euros, it is now 40! un exceptable high. To add to the misery wine is now served by the glass in thimble sizes 12ml glasses.
This cost escalation and awful wine measurements greatly reduces the enjoyment. I think I have stayed in the hotel upwards of 50 times. I will look elsewhere for my next visit.
