The location of the hotel is excellent. Staff was very cooperative and helpful. We've been lucky to have a parking space in front of the hotel. The room was nice and clean with a nice view to the city. Coffee/tea making facilities are available in the room. The bed is comfortable. Excellent restaurant where the breakfast is served. A lot of things are available for breakfast, but the quality of some of them (bacon, ham, salami) could be better. Tea and coffee, as well as some of the sweet things offered were very good.
Only two small elevators available and in the morning the waiting time at some floors could be rather long. The quality of the wi-fi in the room could be much better.

The hotel staff were excellent. The front desk & house keeping staff were great. My room was very clean and tidy, you can tell the cleaning staff care about their work. The hotel's location is amazing just outside the old city and right on the water with a beautiful sea view a beautiful view of the old city, the new city and the The Aqueduct of Kavala, popularly known as the Kamares (Greek: Καμάρες, "arches"). The hotel is also in very close walking distance to the KTEL bus terminal and taxi stand.
I did not like the air conditioning which could not keep up with the August 2025 heat. The air-conditioning could not be set below 25 Degrees Celsius or 77 Degrees Fahrenheit without causing the system to freeze and stop working for a period of time. The hotel staff were very kind and understanding but were unable to resolve the air conditioning issues. Some of the hotel rooms have an old bathtub that is entirely too high for most people to safely step into while other rooms have had some renovations and now have a modern shower. The lighting in the renovated bathrooms is austere. Without working air conditioning I am unable to sleep at night and therefore unfortunately unable to recommend the property. If the air conditioning were repaired or replaced with a modern system, I would gladly stay at this hotel once again.
