I stayed with my parents, and we had a great time. The host was extremely good with the details, and it was very easy to access and we had all our questions answered quite well. Totally recommend this place.

Good value a short vacation. 10min walk to SMN train station. There was a tram track near by, thus a bit noisy.

The B&B Peterson is actually an apartment whose rooms have been rented out. It is a comfortable facility with free coffee and tea (without milk). However, it is located in a very desolate area which although is close to Firenze Santa Maria novella, requires a 10 min walk through empty streets alongside the railway tracks. This is not an issue for day time travellers. Night time travellers may have to walk back to the hotel from the happening areas through empty streets, which feels eerie. Nothing really bad though. You can consider this place if the major locational advantage you are seeking is a 10 min distance from the train terminus.
