Situated 20 mins from Wellsford SH1 or if you prefer the scenic SH16 drive from Auckland through Kaukapakapa, only 1 hour 10 mins.
Orongo Point offers the ultimate getaway experience with 200 acres of private farmland and 3 kms of pristine forested coastline to explore, with access to its own private and magnificent white sandy beach.

Orongo Point bach provides simple kiwi style bach accommodation and is the perfect base to explore this amazing part of New Zealand.
The bach is a rustic-styled, 2 bedroom timber hut with adjoining outdoor deck to enjoy the views of Lemon Tree Bay. Inside there is a master bedroom - with a luxurious queen size bed. The second bedroom offers bunk accommodation with two single beds. The kitchen is modern and well appointed with plenty of fridge space.
Timber lining gives the bach a rustic, natural charm which is surrounded by a mature garden and fruit orchard. The interior decor is cosy, but contemporary.

Pets are welcome. We get a lot of visitors bringing their dogs with them. They love the freedom and space to run around too.
There is plenty of room around the bach to put tents up too.
Please remember to bring your own linen and towels. We have plenty of duvets, blankets and throws to keep you warm and cosy.
We love our special part of New Zealand and encourage you to take your rubbish with you.

Our family loved our stay at this bach. We were after a break away from Auckland and this didn’t disappoint. Lots of space for the kids and dog to run wild and we really enjoyed being able to explore back beach. A really easy stress free break.

Loved every minute. As a farm girl who grew up on the farm we couldn't have asked for more. Pure bliss and a great place to unwind from life.

Was everything I was hoping for.Accommodation was clean and comfortable.The back beach was beautiful with great fishing.And our dogs loved it.Highly recommend this property.
