This hotel was beautiful! Our room overlooked the Arno and we could see Ponte Vecchio as well as Piazza Michelangelo. We were close to everything, but not in the middle of one of the big piazza's. We had a beautiful fruit and cookie platter in the room when we arrived, which was a surprise. The hotel buffet breakfast had a lot of variety and the servers were very attentive. This hotel is more than some, but I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. We did taxi from the train station to the hotel - seemed like a long walk with luggage over cobblestones and through people, but the taxi price was not much.

Fantastic location. Breakfast was good.
Booked a superior room. Room was alright, but balcony was incredibly disappointing, overlooking internal courtyard which was dark and oppressive....
