Location was wonderful ,the kitchen was fabulous & very well stocked & we loved the garden.
The lack of a proper shower was dissapointing ( we did kno this before we went but it still proved very annoying as it was hot & many of the family needdd to shower )We also found the water in the bathroom wasn’t very hot.

The farmhouse was a comfortable, very cosy house ideal for a relaxed family break. A small enclosed garden so dog friendly. It was in a lovely position for dog walks up onto the downs and felt off the beaten track yet easy reach of pubs and other towns and cities ...30 mins or so to the historic dockyard at Portsmouth or half an hour to Winchester cathedral or only 5 to Petersfield to a rowing-boat on the lake. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of good quality towels and a generous amount of products to use in the bathrooms and kitchen, Also Lovely touches like beautiful flowers in vases and pretty roses around the windows and chickens clucking about in the yard. Also useful to have a washer and drier.
We were having some trouble with the hot water but it was sorted out on the second day. The house was very hot...would have been nice in the winter. The agar in the kitchen made it very cosy but we needed to have fans on (which were provided )upstairs during the night.
Also the farmhouse was situated right next to the working turkey farm and the windows have become quite mucky and needed a good clean.
