the location was great, nice to have two full bathrooms and the hot tub was fab, layout of lodge was lovely and woodland setting with all the birdsong was great too, check in was easy, the bar/cafe area was nicely done and welcoming
check in is late and check out early with £20 per hour for a late check out which I think is excessive. One of the bathrooms had a drain smell that didn't go all weekend, the hot water didn't work as well in one of the bathrooms, the TV was glitchy, larger sofas or another comfy chair or two would be better for the size of the lounge, there was litter in the woods right outside the lodge (empty cans a broken glass, empty plastic bags, which we went and picked up for the obvious reason of doing the right thing but also as it wasn't nice to look at out of the full length windows. All small details but for a higher edn venue I would have expected these details to be better.

"The location was perfect quiet and the room was exceptionally good including the bed which was very comfortable. Kitchen look good and well stock but as only had breakfast did not use it."
