Windmill Cottage is an attractive Georgian style cottage/townhouse situated in one of the best residential areas of the village and located in a private traffic free Close. The cottage is tastefully furnished and equipped to high standards. There is a small, enclosed south west facing rear garden.
Windmill Cottage is only 6 minutes walk from the village centre and the beach areas are 3 minutes by car - plenty of parking.
Milford on Sea is a small, popular village on the Hampshire/Dorset coast borders and situated between the sea and the New Forest. It is an ideal holiday location with safe beaches, good walks and all facilities. Lymington, the Georgian town and sea port is just 4 miles away and Bournemouth is 14 miles.

This is a very nice house in a quiet close with plenty of easy parking. The amenities are adequate, as is reflected by the comparitively low price, but clean and comfortable with a very comprehensive folder of instructions and guides to local restaurants and places of interest. A welcome basket of cookies and drinks sachets was a nice touch, though actual communication with the householders, in the absence of wanting to bother them with a phone call, received a slow or, in one case, non-existent response.There was some small confusion over the instructions for rubbish collection, due to these being in two different places and slightly contradictory, but everything worked out.There are perhaps two negatives. The upstairs floorboards are very creaky and it's impossible not to make quite a bit of noise when walking around there, which, in our case, resulted in one of us being woken up every time the other got up for the toilet. And the toilet itself has been placed in such a way that one is forced to sit quite far forward and the lid then falls onto one's back. A minor inconvenience, but a larger person might struggle with this arrangement.All in all, it's a decent property for the price and we enjoyed our stay. We would certainly consider another visit in the future.
