Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Ensuite: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Central heating (£40 per week February, March, October November and December), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Small garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking. No smoking. Please note: No babies or children under 8 years old.. This single storey holiday lodge is situated in its own private garden overlooking the 3-acre cottage garden. The garden is accessible to guests of Lavender Lea free of charge during the opening hours of 10am-4.30pm Wed-Sat. There is also a family-run tearoom on-site serving delicious homemade cakes, cream teas and light lunches. There are buzzards, red kites, pheasants and plenty of wild birds which feed from the flower seed heads throughout the year. The setting offers beautiful and tranquil scenery, ideal for relaxing with a book and a glass of wine or cup of coffee.
This is an ideal area for walking/cycling and sightseeing. Lavender Lea is within 1 mile of the New Forest with acres of heath and woodlands and famous for its free roaming ponies, cattle, donkeys and foraging boar. The ancient city of Salisbury with its magnificent cathedral, 12 miles. Southampton with its fantastic West Quay shopping mall and leisure complex also offers easy access to the Isle of Wight. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

What a gem of a place. We had a fantastic relaxing week, including my wife's 90 year old mother.Perfect for what we needed; great location and wonderful setting.Loved the gardens and tea shop.Highly recommended.

We had a lovely week at Lavender Lea. The location was perfect for walking in the New Forest & visiting Salisbury, Lyndhurst & Romsey. The cottage had plenty of space with a lovely garden. The only negative was the double bed which we found extremely uncomfortable.

This cottage, which is comfotable and well equipped, is in an ideal location for exploring the New Forest area as well as places like Salisbury, Romsey, Winchester, Portsmouth Dock Yard etc. There are various attractions in the local area. The Lavender Gardens (3 acres) which are the view from the property and their tearooms are lovely, not just lavender, but an abundance of other plants and garden features. They offer light lunches, wonderful cream teas and homemade cakes and a warm welcome. I would definitely visit and stay again.
