Splendid location in an old barn, restaurated with lots of attention for autentic elements (stones, wood, beautiful linnens,...). Beautiful common room where an opulous breakfast is served. Very nice, big and authentic garden with swimming pool - must be a splendour to enjoy with beautiful weather. Super good beds and matresses for a very good nights rest. Modern bathroom and big shower (place for 2). Max 10 min drive to Giverny. Wonderfull and very intresting owners - especially the "land"lady, always making sure you are comfortable and feeling at home. Absolutely worthwile to stay while discovering the region.

Me and my wife stayed two nights in Maison in Normandie in early July. The location of this place is just perfect for example if one wishes to visit Giverny. Once we arrived, Isabel was welcoming us, showed our room and introduced the details. Everything is clean and fresh. The rooms (including the breakfast room) have been decorated with good taste. Over the welcoming drinks we were delighted to learn among the other things that there is a nice restaurant at the bank of river Seine, less than 5 minutes’ walk from Maison in Normandie. We had two very enjoyable dinners there and it seemed to be very popular place among the locals - always a good sign in France and everywhere else. Breakfast was very good and healthy, all fresh and homemade. We also had a change of enjoying some Portuguese specialties which we highly appreciated. In the final day, we enjoyed the possibility of late check out that Isabel herself suggested for us. What a perfect and relaxing way of ending our holiday in France. Isabel is a fantastic, energetic, helpful and genuinely friendly lady. We really enjoyed our stay and very strongly recommend this place for the future quests.
