Good location for me as l visited my Great Uncle’ war grave. 25 minute walk to train station or could take tram. Shopping centre next door. Great breakfast and very helpful staff

Honestly, this was my worst night's sleep in a hotel ever. I booked this hotel because of the free breakfast (fantastic!), and it's proximity to my testing facility for my French language exam. I live about an hour away, and I thought it would be less stressful before my TCF exam to stay in the city the night before, to avoid morning traffic.
Between midnight and 3am, the sound of doors opening and slamming shut constantly, prevented me from sleeping, along with the loud sounds of plumbing. Apparently the people above us were in constant need of washing their hands. Around 3:30am, when I thought I would finally sleep, there were ridiculous, performative, loud sex noises below us. Finally, I was able to sleep around 5:30, and get ALMOST 2 HOURS of sleep before my SUPER IMPORTANT, GOVERNMENT MANDATED LANGUAGE EXAM.
Staff was great, breakfast was great, the bed was so uncomfortable, it was like a punishment out of Greek mythology, and the whole place was so loud, you couldn't sleep without sedatives. But it is a good location.
