I had no cell phone, but my host went out of her way to meet me, help me with my bags and let me in around 8.p.m. all of which I really appreciated; also giving me a lot of information and making sure I was comfortable
The location was really great and was a great surprise...easy 1 minute walk to everything
It would have been good to have access to an English-speaking channel on TV ....not an issue, but would have been a nice option.
Great space for a single or a couple and child, but might be a bit crowded for four adults.
Just for info: I am a senior, and don't have mobility problems, but for those who do, Portofino is not always easy walking....cobbled/uneven surfaces, steep slopes and steps.....part of its charm, but could be a problem for those with mobility issues.
