This apartment lets you experience Portofino as a local. It's in a quiet street off the main area, tucked away from foot and car traffic. The apartment is well appointed with lots of internal space and two external spaces (patio area and balcony) to enjoy. To be honest, we didn't spend much time at the apartment during our visit because there's so much to do in this area, but we were comfortable and pleased with the accommodations. Our host was exceptionally communicative about how to get into the apartment and where to park - this was a challenge because we came into Portofino very late and had to find the key in the dark. The host provided many videos for checking-in and checking out. Those were helpful in knowing where to park, etc.

The cons are less to do with the apartment and just some challenges in being in Portofino. The road in is very tight - almost single car passage in some places. The parking is similarly very tight - the smaller the car, the better. That said, we had very good communication about arriving by car from the host.

Apartment was clean, modern and spacious for our family of 5, steps away from the center of Portofino. Host was responsive to our needs anytime it was needed.

Everything was great, no issues at all.

The host did not include instructions about getting into carport, so we were confused and stranded for nearly an hour in front of the apartment unable to enter. She did not answer her phone until the day after. Internet was not working, fixed only the last few hours of the last night we were there. Host was not responsive or sufficiently informative.
