The room had been recently refurbished and was comfortable. The staff were friendly. The location of the hotel is very convenient close to a Metro station and a tram stop as well as numerous bus routes. There is a daily food market on the main street by Place Castellene and lots of bars and restaurants nearby.
Even though the rooms had been refurbished and were comfortable and nicely decorated there were no bedside tables, just shelves tucked *behind* the bed which are not convenient for putting a glass of water etc. It's a pain and there was room to put them in so I don't understand why they were left out. The air conditioning doesn't work properly and I had to open my window which was noisy. But the main issue is the breakfast area which is far too small for the number of guests. The breakfast itself was simple but really good quality. It was just difficult to move around other guests in the very small space to get food and drinks and then find space at a table to eat without bumping into other guests as you sat down. It really needs redesigning and streamlining.

The location is just a few minutes walk from a major metro connecting center. Minutes from the port and the train station.
The facility could benefit from a maintenance refresh. The toilet, faucet, and shower in my room were all loose and not well fixed. The air conditioner, despite being on the lowest setting for two days, was still not powerful enough or cool enough to chill the room. The breakfast is okay, but the dishes were not always clean. The wifi where I was (7th floor) was terrible.
