The room was simple but very adequate. It was very clean.The breakfast was very good, and well cooked. The location was excellent, close to the cathedral and the town hall. Once I got my bearings- this was my first visit to Chester- I was able to explore. I appreciated that I was able to lave my luggage in a secure room while I visited 2 old friends in a nursing home some 2 miles away. I then caught my train home. I shall certainly use the place again at some stage.

Location was very central
We were in a room right above the bar so very noisy till closing time.
