The location is excellent. The house is cosy, clean, and peaceful, making it feel like a home away from home. There is a bus stop nearby, and it is conveniently located for easy access to both Bowness and Windermere.

The room and en-suite bathroom were very clean. Everything was organised, all information provided upon arrival with notes and folder with all the needed information, instructions and even suggested restaurants/cafe nearby. Great location as well, walkable going to the train station and near the bus stop (convenient if you’re not driving). The host was also very accommodating.
The room was a bit smaller than we expected (though we booked small room) but just enough space. We could hear the tap running from upstairs or the next room if they’re using the bathroom.
