Breakfast was ordered previously and a time at our choosing was available to us, the breakfast was served hot and well presented. Jill ensured we were happy with everything Great central location to town and a bounty of different places to eat . Will definitely be back . Worth a mention that the owner met us from the car park at Rayrigg met us and took us to our accommodation thanks Phil.
Although we booked an economy room, I feel that the decor looked a bit dated and also the bathroom and shower could have been cleaner. My wife found the breakfast a bit overly greasy although she did eat it all. Our bedroom door was a bit ill fitting and required 2 attempts to pull it tight

The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful, the English breakfasts were very nice and tasty, and lake windermere is a few steps away, with fantastic views. Many rooms have a view to the lake, which is very pleasant. Overall, considering the area, the hotel is very comfortable in a great location and is good vale for money

Friendly hostess, very accommodating.
My husband had unexpected knee surgery so stairs were a bit of a problem.
