About this apartment rental
Preserving the charm of the 1960s and reinterpreting it from today's perspective, that was our wish when, in 2017/18, we extensively renovated our "Nr. 16" house together with our architects. The result is two sunny apartments on the southern slope of Ochsenfurt with a wonderful view of the Main valley and the medieval old town. We are pleased that our apartments have been included in the Architecturals 2019.
Each apartment is individually tailored and lovingly furnished with a mix of modern and old. The bathrooms and cooking lines are completely new.
The apartment 1 is located on the ground floor of the house, but is due to the hillside felt on the first floor. It consists of a bedroom and a living / dining room with kitchenette. The balcony extends over the whole south side of the house and offers a wide view over the gardens of the quiet residential area and the southern Maindreieck with less than a kilometer away from the medieval center of Ochsenfurts. This view can also be enjoyed from the comfortable box spring bed in the spacious bedroom, when the two double doors to the balcony are opened. On the sofa bed in the living / dining room, if necessary, one to two more guests can stay overnight. Unless the varied gastronomy of the region is tried out, a kitchenette is available for preparing smaller meals. These can then be enjoyed on the elevated dining table with 4 bar stools or on the balcony.
Of course, in addition to satellite TV in both apartments free Wi-Fi available. You are also welcome to use our wine fridge in the entrance area of the house. Wines are our passion and we have made a small regional selection, which we provide them well tempered for the winegrower price.

Die Wohnung hält, was die Anzeige verspricht: Ausstattung, Ambiente, Sauberkeit, Ruhe, Blick auf Ochsenfurt und sehr nette Vermieter.

Leider haben wir den Aufenthalt nicht genießen können, sind einen Tag vorher abgereist. Die Ankunft war sehr nett, die Vermieter sympathisch und bemüht. Die Wohnung ist auf den ersten Blick auch schön bzw. die Lage ist es auf jeden Fall. Am ersten Abend war noch alles in Ordnung, da es draußen auch entsprechend warm war, wir also die Heizung in der Wohnung noch nicht vermisst haben. Gewöhnungsbedürftig war nur, dass wir ins Bett gehen mussten, um fern zu sehen, da es nur dort einen Fernseher gab. Das angegebene Wohnzimmer besteht lediglich aus einem Schlafsofa!!! Da die gesamte Wohnung mit Fliesen ausgelegt ist, war es am nächsten Morgen im Badezimmer doppelt kalt: auf dem Fußboden und auch sonst. Die Heizung wurde erst gegen halb neun etwas warm, aber kaum spürbar. Man hat also leider nach dem Duschen gefroren. Das hat sich auch am folgenden Tag nicht geändert (obwohl wir den Vermietern Bescheid gegeben haben). Am zweiten Tag wurde es dann auch abends so kalt, dass wir nur mit dickem Pullover in der Küche sitzen konnten. Leider gab es auch kein Wohnzimmer mit Fernseher, so dass man sich wieder ins Bett legen musste. Des Weiteren war es ärgerlich, dass man sich tagsüber – das Wetter war schön – nicht mal entspannt mit einem Buch auf dem Balkon aufhalten konnte, da dort nur Stühle wie in einem Biergarten standen, die zum längeren Verweilen nicht einluden. Der Ort Ochsenfurt ist ganz hübsch, auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen ist der Italiener auf der linken Seite, wenn man über die Brücke in die Stadt geht. Ja, leider können wir diese Wohnung nicht weiterempfehlen, es sei denn, es ist draußen so warm, dass man auch drinnen keine Heizung braucht. Aber auf jeden Fall sollte man als Mieter der Wohnung selber entscheiden können, wie warm man es haben möchte!
