About this apartment rental
Preserving the charm of the 1960s and reinterpreting it from today's perspective, that was our wish when, in 2017/18, we extensively renovated our "Nr. 16" house together with our architects. The result is two sunny apartments on the southern slope of Ochsenfurt with a wonderful view of the Main valley and the medieval old town. We are pleased that our apartments have been included in the Architecturals 2019.
Each apartment is individually tailored and lovingly furnished with a mix of modern and old. The bathrooms and cooking lines are completely new.
The apartment 2 is located in 1. Upstairs of the house. It consists of a dining room with kitchenette, a living room with sofa bed and a double bedroom. The small south-facing balcony offers a particularly impressive view of the River Main and the medieval Ochsenfurt due to its privileged location. Each guest has his own entrance door in the cozy double bedroom. Another sleeping facility is available in the spacious living room on the pull-out sofa. For separate TV preferences, there is a TV in both rooms. In addition to the varied gastronomy, which can be reached on foot or by bike, the kitchen with dining area offers the opportunity to prepare smaller meals.
Of course, in addition to satellite TV in both apartments free Wi-Fi available. You are also welcome to use our wine fridge in the entrance area of the house. Wines are our passion and we have made a small regional selection, which we provide them well tempered for the winegrower price.

Great location and apartment. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Enjoyed having coffee on the deck overlooking the valley/river/town and walking into Ochsenfurt. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a pleasurable stay for a little over a week in apt no. 2, which turned out to be a bulls-eye choice.
This is one of those rare occasions where the photographs do the opposite of exaggerating, as the apartment was even roomier and nicer than the pics conveyed.
One could see that the architect's vision and the owners' discerning taste interacted to achieve a both aesthetically pleasing and functionally strong result. Finishings and fittings were all done to a high standard, with just the right dose of well-chosen furnishings to make for a very successful home-away-from-home experience.
Views are superb and there's a nice cosy outdoor seating arrangement to take them in while enjoying the wonderfully quiet surroundings.
On-premise carport parking is another plus.
Geographically, this turned out to be a strategically smart choice, with Würzburg and the Romantische Strasse within easy reach, plus plenty of other interesting places in the vicinity, including of course Ochsenfurt itself, all well worth a visit.
Lots of cycling and walking possibilities, plenty of lovely green rural areas to explore.
The friendly proprietors went out of their way to make us feel welcome, tend to our wishes, answer our questions. Communication was friendly, responsive and on point.
A big thank you to Anja and Ulrich for the privilege and their hospitality, both instrumental in adding this little jewel of a holiday to our collection of treasured memories.
