WS Marais - République

Location was excellent. We stayed as a family of four with two kids aged 12 & 14. There’s a main bed in the studio part of the apartment and separate bedroom with another double bed. Kitchen well equipped, bathroom was nice, but got steamy and slippery - be careful. The apartment is small but completely fine, it is Paris after all. We loved the building it was in. The offsite staff were exceptional and very fast to reply to any questions or issues. It was clean and we all slept like babies for the five nights we were there. There’s a laundromat directly across the road which was very handy. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

Its position was great. A laundromat across the road. Markets on the corner (clothing & antiques & bric-a-brac) every Friday & Saturday.

The sheets and towels are utilitarian.

The location of the property is fantastic.

The cleanliness of the property is very poor. There was pink mould in the shower which I had asked multiple times to be cleaned yet they failed to do so. Very poor standards and even though the administration promised it would be cleaned, it was not. I’ve stayed in cleaner hostels. There was only one pillow on the bed per person and when we requested one more the company said they didn’t have any. We were able to see extra pillows in the cleaning cupboard. Very disappointing. We had to go to IKEA to purchase a pillow each to sleep on. The walls are very thin and we were able to hear the person next door snoring.
