About this farm stay rental
The surrounding meadows and forests as well as the brook 'Schwarzenbach' adjacent to the property invite especially adults with children to play and linger. Sandpit, swings, grill and fireplace are available next to the terrace.
The self-catering house is supplied by its own power sources and its own well water. With gas, the heating and the stove is operated. The house is inhabited by an elderly couple. In the converted economics section of the former farmhouse is the apartment with its own south-facing terrace.
The apartment (about 90 sqm) has at ground level a large living room with dining area, sofa and fireplace. Games, books, TV and piano are available. Kitchen and toilet are located separately next to it. An open fireplace gives the apartment its special charm. A spiral staircase leads to the 1st. Floor, which has two bedrooms with a shower.
Two double beds (1 x 1.80 m and 1 x 1.40 m wide), a cot and if necessary a travel cot can accommodate our guests. In the living room, the sofa can also be folded down to a 1.40 m wide bed.

Our stay at the Talhof was wonderful and exactly as described. Klaus met us there and was extremely helpful in introducing us to the works of the Hof, and showing us around. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and easy access to hiking trails and surrounding cities, as well as the Lake Constance area. Wonderful with children as they get to play and have fun outside. There is even a little playhouse, and swings, which they enjoyed thoroughly. Highly recommend if you would like to spend a magical time away from people and the busyness of every day life. We are looking forward to returning! Thank you

Really cosy house with a beautiful garden and view, with a heart for an ecological lifestyle. Sun energy driven, own water source, outdoor toilet and shower for in the summer. Klaus is a nice host and helps you around when needed. We will definitely come back!

Great old style farmhouse, well equipped with all you need. It is a quiet place in a green oasis of forest and meadows. Next stores and bakery are 4 km away. Use of water can be a problem during a season of drought. Running of water in toilette should be repaired by the owner. Otherwise everything was perfect. Pleasant host.
