About this cottage rental
A real hidden gem, this great little bolthole for two is perfect for a seaside get away. Tucked behind the main high street, it is right at the centre of all the delights Sheringham has to offer.Ground floor: Open plan living, dining and kitchen area: with sofa, dining table with 2 chairs, TV and Blueray player and Wood burner (please bring own logs). Kitchenette: with electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. Turning, narrow and steep winder stairs leading to first floor.
First floor: ONE galleried Twin bedroom: with 2 single beds, bedside cabinet, hanging space and chest of draws. Shower room: with corner walk in shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
Please note: Bed linen and towels provided. Location: beach 350 metres, pubs and shops a 2-minute stroll. This property has a steep staircase. Whilst there is no parking at the property, the Cliff Road or Station car park are close by and both weekly and annual passes are available to purchase. A nice cottage for two. Very handy for the town and beach. It is small, but has everything you need for a holiday stay, the only thing we found wanting was a shaver/toothbrush socket. It's surprisingly quiet at night, for a town centre location. We found the beds a bit soft, but that's just a preference. A good-sized TV downstairs, with a DVD player for when it rains!

All very good at this cottage but the sofa is very uncomfortable and some help with the heating would be an advantage.
And the windows will not open to ventilate the property.

This was a last minute booking over the Bank Holiday.
It suited our needs but very small with no garden. Parking nearby and short stays on Station Road close walking distance. Overnight free parking on Station Road which was a great help for someone with a disability.
There were one or two things needed in the property ie. a brush for sitting/kitchen area better than getting vacuum out of cupboard.
Very heavy bed settee to move. All in all a very convenient position/quiet and compact.

Good location and size for 2 people and could be lovely and cosy, but so many things need sorting out. We were rather disappointed.
